This redesign could have been anything that you could dream up. I went for a more landscape and building redesign approach. There is a direct path to the second floor of the library with a bridge with triangle shades and another path under the bridge that goes over a man made river from the current fountain. This design will change the flow of the space throughout and will make it less of a travel blank empty space and more of a lively area to hang out in.
